Referral and Case Management Services

Some of the reasons TCNJ students may be referred to off-campus service providers include but are not limited to the following situations:

  • Long-term, ongoing individual counseling services would be most helpful and/or have been utilized in the past
  • Psychiatric medications and/or refills outside the scope of CAPS’ psychiatry
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Psychological/Educational testing (evaluations for ADHD, etc.) Please contact Accessibility Resource Center for more information.

What to Expect if Referred

If referred for any of the above services, our Case Management team will guide you through the process. They will assist in connecting you with an appropriate off-campus provider and ensure a smooth transition for continued care. We aim to help you access the most suitable resources for your needs.

To utilize Case Management Services at CAPS, please fill out a Request For Service form or visit CAPS during our walk-in hours.
