Overview of Peer Education Programs

The College of New Jersey believes in the power of peer education. During college years, peers are the most potent source of influence on affective and cognitive growth and development. Peer Educators impact the campus community in which they live by serving as role models for healthy decision-making, helping correct misconceptions, guiding students towards informed decision-making, influencing policies, and working collaboratively with faculty and staff to increase the quality and number of services offered to students.
