Sophia (she/her/hers) is the Victim Support Specialist intern at AVI. She is a junior majoring in Clinical and Counseling Psychology and minoring in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies. Sophia is passionate about creating a culture that supports and empowers survivors of power-based personal violence through education. She hopes to use her position with AVI to spread awareness about PBPV, foster healthy conversations, and nurture a more trauma-informed campus community. In addition to her work at AVI, Sophia is an Ambassador for AmIOk and a member of the psychology club and humanitarian yoga club.
