Beverly Mason has an extensive history of working with young adults across a variety of mental health settings. She specializes in working with issues regarding mood, anxiety, substance use, relationships, developmental transitions, and the LGBTQ population. Beverly believes in a strength-based, person-centered approach and is trained in a number of treatment modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In her free time, Beverly enjoys teaching in the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work, spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
