Beverly Mason, DSW, LCSW is a passionate college counseling clinician, private practitioner, researcher, administrator, and leader. From providing developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive individual and group therapy to designing and implementing treatment programs for emerging adults experiencing mental health struggles, Beverly’s work centers around improving the landscape and outcomes of college mental health and removing barriers to care.
Beverly holds both a Master’s (MSW) and a Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) from The School of Social Work at Rutgers University. Beverly specializes in working with issues regarding mood, anxiety, adoption, developmental transitions, and with LGBTQIA+ folx. Beverly believes in a strength-based, person-centered approach and is trained in several treatment modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In her free time, Beverly enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
